Lemon-Berry Protein Smoothie

Do you ever come home after a workout and want something other than the usual vanilla or chocolate protein shake? I do! Sometimes all I want is a fruit smoothie instead! So, I came up with this lemon-berry protein smoothie to satisfy my fruit cravings!

Ingredients:
– Ice
– 1/2 lemon squeezed
– 1/2 cup strawberries
– Handful of raw spinach
– 1 scoop of protein powder (I used vanilla whey protein)
– 1/2 cup milk
– 1/2 cup water
*(Total Calories 270)

Directions:
Put it in a blender and you have a great post-workout smoothie! I think vanilla protein powder is the best base to use when making fruity smoothies because it isn’t overpowering and gives some sweetness to the taste.
