Salad of the Week – Grocery Saving & Preparation

Last Thursday I shared my salad for the week. This week I switched up the flavors a bit. I don’t get sick of salads, but I do get sick of the same salad.

Grocery List:
-3 Heads Romaine Lettuce (rinse, chop up and store) $1.49 per head, $4.47
-3 Bell Peppers $3.00 (Package Bundle)
-1 Small Red Onion $0.79
-1 Package Colby Jack Cheese $2.47
-1 Bag Sliced Carrots $2.15
-1 Package Whole Grain Croutons $2.19
-1 Marzetti Southwestern Tortilla Strips $3.15
-1 Bag Small Radishes $2.15

Total Bill – $20.37 /7 Salads – $2.91 Per Salad

Try finding a salad that cheap & fresh at a restaurant.

For each salad:
– 3 Cups Romaine Lettuce
– 1 Cup Sliced Bell Peppers (Your Choice Colors)
– 2 Tbsps Red Onion Diced
– 3 Tbsp Colby Jack Cheese
– 1 Sliced Radish
– 1/4 Cup Sliced Carrots
– 3 Tbsp Whole Grain Croutons
– 2 Tbsp Marzetti Southwestern Tortilla Strips
– 2 Tbsp Light French Dressing
