Everyday you should be doing “sneaky crunches”. Why are they called “sneaky crunches” you ask? Well 1, because they can be done anywhere, well almost. And 2, because you may have to sneak and do them. But 3, they’re sneaky so you can do them whenever you want.
Sneaky crunches are the ones you do during every TV or Youtube commercial. And don’t cheat if you have DVR and fast forward the commercials. Let the ads play out while you crank out the crunches. You can start small and do 10 crunches per show and increase as your reps if they start to feel too easy.
You can do sneaky crunches in your office, an empty conference room, or even at a friend’s house while they’re in the kitchen. Get your partner in on it too to challenge each other!
Another ab workout you should be doing everyday is… laughing. Laughing can burn up to 160 calories per hour. On the downside, you would have to laugh for 12 hours to burn a single pound. Here’s an upside though (we all like those don’t we?) laughing deeply tends to constrict your ab muscles in movement mimicking something similar to a crunch. Laughing also burns calories by causing your heart rate to rise by 10 to 20%. As your heart rate rises, your metabolism boosts as well, which means you’ll continue to burn calories once you stop laughing.
So whether it be from a funny tv show, gifs, memes, funny friends who sends you said memes, or making yourself laugh, make sure you do it every single day!
